A familiar car wash in Walhalla, South Carolina, is getting a major equipment upgrade. The site, formerly Express Tech Car Wash, is replacing its two existing LaserWash 4000 systems with two new LaserWash 360 Plus touchless in-bay automatics.
The LaserWash 4000 has been a longstanding part of the touchless car wash industry, and the new 360 Plus builds on that foundation with updated technology designed to improve wash performance, flexibility, and operation.
From the LaserWash 4000 to the 360 Plus
While both systems are touchless in-bay automatics, the LaserWash 360 Plus brings several advancements to the bay.
More advanced vehicle detection allows the system to better respond to different vehicle shapes and sizes, including open pickup beds. The system can also detect contact or an obstruction, reverse, and attempt to clear it.
The upgrade also introduces additional wash and chemical application options, including a front bug/prep application, super sealant applicator, Rain Rinse arch, FlashDry, and no-purge chemical changeover. Behind the scenes, E-Chain utility routing and modern web and network monitoring capabilities bring the equipment into a new generation of operation and serviceability.
Together, these improvements give the site more flexibility in how it washes vehicles and the services it can offer customers.
Finishing With the AirCannons
The upgrades don’t stop with the wash equipment. At the end of the wash, the site will also feature Belanger AirCannons to help deliver a strong finish.
AirCannons use powerful, targeted airflow with adjustable nozzle positioning, allowing the drying system to be configured around the needs of the wash. Their design also focuses on lower energy consumption, easier maintenance, long-life housing, and flexible installation options.
And Walhalla Isn’t the Only One
This same equipment setup is also coming to the company’s location in Cornelia, Georgia, with two LaserWash 360 Plus systems paired with Belanger AirCannons.
